Organic herbal tea: A natural infusion of hemp, herbs and spices
Hemp Tea is a herbal tea made from the infusion of hemp, herbs and spices. Herbal drinks have been part of the human diet for thousands of years and our carefully selected tea is made from the leaves from the hemp plant beautifully infused with selected spices and herbs to create a refreshingly tasty herbal tea. The hemp plant is extremely sustainable and versatile and has been used for thousands of years for a wide range of applications including natural medicine. Like other herbal teas, there is no caffeine nor is it decaffeinated. It is purely organic and can be served either hot or cold.
Unlike cannabis tea that has high levels of THC (the psychoactive substance that occurs in ‘marijuana’ hemp and gets you ‘stoned’), hemp tea has only very small traces of THC which means that it will not get you high. Like all our legal hemp products, it has less than the prescribed standard of 0.2% THC.
The hemp plant is grown in fertile soil without artificial fertilizer, herbicides or pesticides. Also, because of the plants distinctive smell, insects find her unattractive. Once the plant has been harvested, the leaves are cut, mixed with spices and herbs to make a special blend of exotic tea. Another name for the natural tea is CBD tea because the hemp leaves contain small amounts of CBD (Cannabidiol) and CBDA (Cannabidiol acid). These substances are currently being researched in the medical industry. The concentration of CBD and CBDA in the tea is low and therefore is not considered a medicine. Hemp tea should be stored in tight containers away from other herbs and spices with a strong aroma so that the tea does not absorb any other tastes or smells. Store in a dry, dark, cool place. Do not store in the fridge.
